药学是医药领域的重要组成部分，是医药体系健全和发展的根本保证。在中共中央国务院关于《粤港澳大湾区发展规划纲要》、《关于支持深圳建设中国特色社会主义先行示范区的意见》以及《关于促进中医药传承创新发展的意见》的指导下；深圳受国家五部委委托建立综合性国家科学中心的大背景下，深圳技术大学药学院应运成立。

深圳技术大学药学院的成立受到广东省和深圳市政府的高度重视。树立“工匠精神、人文情怀”的办学理念，对标德国、瑞士等先进国家的药学办学体系，本着为中国研制国际原创新药，为业界输送高素质的药学技能人才，为产业提供高品质的技术服务等目标的原则，规划建设好深圳市第一所应用型药学院。

药学院是聚人才培养、基础研究、创新药开发和技术服务平台为一体的学院。学院设立九个教研室：药物化学、天然药物学、中药学、生物制药学、药理学、药物分析学、药物制剂学、临床药学以及药事管理学。深圳技术大学药学院将发挥自身学科的特点和优势，促进深圳市生物医药产业的发展，加速推动粤港澳大湾区医药创新研发、成果转化、生产制造的全链条生产体系的形成。药学院拟建设药物制备与测试分析平台、分子生物学实验平台、细胞生物学平台、SPF级动物生物学实验平台、生物安全三级实验室及本科GMP教学实验平台等教学科研的功能平台，并与国药集团致君（深圳）制药、华润三九医药、深圳万乐药业、健康元药业集团以及信立泰药业等知名制药企业合作建立实训基地，为学生提供良好的学习及实践平台。力求将深圳技术大学药学院建设成为广东省一流的应用型药学院。

SZTU: College of Pharmacy

       Pharmacy, a significant field in medicine, is the fundamental guarantee for a robust and developing medical system. The College of Pharmacy in Shenzhen Technology University was established under the background of the documents from the Chinese State Council, <Outline development plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao greater bay area> , <Opinions on supporting Shenzhen for building demonstration pilot zone for socialism with Chinese characteristics>, and <Opinions on promoting the preservation and innovative development of tradition Chinese medicine>, and the commissions for building comprehensive national scientific centers from the five national departments.

       College of Pharmacy in Shenzhen Technology University started with great attentions from the government of Guangdong province and Shenzhen municipality. In order to build the first applied college of Pharmacy well, the college adopts the educational philosophy of "the spirits of artisan and the compassion of humanities", in comparison with the advanced pharmaceutical program in the countries, such as Germany and Switzerland, on the purpose of developing innovative therapy for the world, and to deliver the high-quality professionals for related industries.

       The college of pharmacy is a platform for talent training, basic research, new drug development, and technology support. The college consists nine departments, which are Medicinal Chemistry, Natural Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Biopharmaceuticals, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutics, Clinical Pharmacy, and Pharmaceutical Administration. The college will take the specialties and advantages in each pharmaceutical areas to contribute on the local biomedical industry development, and will promote the formation of the full chain production system for the purposes of medical research and development, scientific achievement transformation, and manufacturing in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. In orderto provide the great teaching and practice opportunities for our students, the college plans to build the drug manufacture, test-analysis platform, biological safety level-3 (BSL-3) laboratory, and educational GMP platform, and has established the practice bases with famous pharmaceutical companies involving Sinopharm Zhijun (Shenzhen), CR Sanjiu, Shenzhen Main Luck Pharmaceuticals Inc, and Joincare Pharmaceutical Group Industry Co. We would strive to construct a first-class applied technology college of pharmacy in Guangdong province.
