Collaboration with Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU), China, is back on track after the Covid-19 pandemic and student exchanges are also resuming.

After a delegation from SZTU visited OTH Regensburg in April this year, another delegation from Shenzhen was welcomed to the campus on 30 October 2023. The delegation, consisting of Zhang Jihang, Secretary of the Party, two deans and several SZTU managers and academic staff, was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Thomas Linner (Faculty of Civil Engineering) and Dr. Marcus Graf (IAFW) from OTH Regensburg. Among other topics, they discussed ideas for intensifying cooperation in the area of student and doctoral student exchange in the field of civil engineering. The programme also included a joint lunch with three SZTU students who are currently studying microsystems engineering and business administration at OTH Regensburg for a semester abroad and reported on their experiences here in Regensburg.

SZTU and OTH already have a long-standing cooperation, which is supported by Prof. Dr. em. Holger Haldenwang, former Vice President for International Affairs at OTH Regensburg and currently Dean of the Business Faculty at SZTU.
